The Purelux Major S800 is a led bar with a shocking light output, which is the stronger big brother of the Major S530 led bar, which has gained fame over the years. Major S800, which is superior in terms of its size-power ratio, is equipped with e.g. with two different power modes, neither of which will leave the user cold. In the limited power mode approved for road traffic, the led bar produces a wide, high-quality composite beam of 421 meters with a light output of 5544 lumens, while the Purelux PowerBoost® mode, designed for off-road use, switches on unlimited light output, which with a measured light output of 21629 lumens up to 841 meters (@ 1 lux) carrying light beam. The readings measured on the bar tell the cold truth about its performance, which elevates it by throwing it into the top ranks of its size category. The Major S800 is definitely not a lazy toy, and for this reason we dare to recommend it for all applications where maximum light output is one of the boundary conditions.
Note! You can clearly see the difference between PowerBoost® and road traffic mode - PowerBoost mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road.
The balanced combination beam of the Major S800 opens across the entire width of the road and effectively directs the light towards the road ahead. The light beam is plump, but softly delimited in the vertical direction, thanks to which a clear ball of light does not form in front of the bow that disturbs visibility, and at the same time, the light can also be better directed towards the benches. The light beam, which is softly defined vertically, also does not illuminate the tops of the trees unnecessarily. Major's spotlight works excellently both above the license plate and installed on the roof, and it efficiently illuminates both winding and endless straight road sections. The height of the light beam makes Major a perfect partner even on a hilly mast, because, for example, there are no sharp shadows that disturb the driver behind the seats.
The driving experience is significantly improved by the deliberately selected color temperature of 5000 Kelvin. The neutral color temperature is optimal for road traffic, as it facilitates e.g. the perception of terrain and obstacles, and it does not reflect the blinding brightness of nature's white snow cover into the driver's eyes or the colors of the objects in front. In addition, the neutral color temperature works better than cool shades in bad weather conditions, and it helps to keep your eyes sharp in the seemingly endless winter darkness. The 5000K color temperature also suits newer cars with LED or Xenon lights as standard, and brings the desired brightness and sharpness even alongside the headlights of older vehicles equipped with halogen lights.

Coupling

When the panel is connected using only the DTP connector, it lights up in PowerBoost® mode. The power mode approved for road traffic can be switched on using the DTP connector, in addition to which the white wire coming out of the power cord separately must be connected to the power.
