The Purelux Major S530 V3 is an updated, more powerful version of the Purelux Major 530! This power pack is equipped with two power modes, allowing the panel to be switched to either a lower power mode approved for road use, or the completely unrestricted Purelux PowerBoost® mode intended for off-road driving. Although the panel has two different power modes, neither of them leaves its user indifferent. According to the manufacturer, the light beam approved for road use has a range of almost half a kilometer, or more precisely 485 m @ 1 lux, which significantly increases visibility when driving on public roads. The PowerBoost mode, on the other hand , harnesses the manufacturer's announced 18,000 lumens of light output and a range of almost 700 meters (679 @ 1 lux) that reaches completely new heights! The performance of this panel is completely unmatched for its size, and we dare to recommend the Major V3 for demanding use and extreme conditions!
Note! The difference between PowerBoost® and road mode is clearly noticeable in use - PowerBoost mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road.
The beam of the Major S530 v3 is an excellent combination of both a long-range spot light and a diffuse light that spreads evenly to the edges of the road. The wide and even beam increases driving safety and gives the driver more time than usual to react to changes in the road, such as observing animals jumping from the forest onto the road or people walking on the road. The Major S530 also provides a suitable vertical diffuse light for driving in hilly terrain , for example, so this panel is perfect for both winding and hilly roads and the endlessly long and dark winter.
In terms of appearance, Major has received a facelift, as the panel has been made darkly stylish. In addition, its impact-resistant, practically unbreakable Lexan polycarbonate lens is completely frameless, meaning there is no frame around it to collect snow, ice or dirt. This means that the panel stays clean for longer even in bad weather conditions, and it can be installed at a higher height without any worries, where cleaning can be more challenging. The Major S530 v3 is therefore ideal for cars, vans and SUVs, as well as for heavy equipment. Thanks to the PowerBoost® mode, the panel is also a great choice for construction site use or Off-Road vehicles.
The light comes with both traditional end feet and width-adjustable rail brackets below the light, so there are almost unlimited mounting options. Installation is made easier by the 2-pole DTP connector already installed in the light's power cable. The wide operating voltage range (9-30 V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems. The light's road-approved power mode can be installed using a separate positive wire from the light's power cable, which allows the connection to be made, for example, behind a separate switch. In this case, the panel's power mode can be changed between road-approved and PowerBoost® mode whenever necessary using a switch, for example from the vehicle's cockpit. In addition, the light is radio interference-protected in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two- year (24 month) warranty!
