When raising your Nissan Patrol (Y60 or Y61) above 4 inches, the use of a castor correction bush kit becomes inadequate and does not adjust the castor enough. You should also remember about the steering angle of the steering pin.This is where castor plates are used which can achieve correct castor angles up to approx 7 inches of lift. This is a very important parameter that creates a stabilizing moment from the lateral reactions of the ground, which contributes to the stability of the steered wheels, especially at high speeds and a large turning radius.
