All items needed to mount the extension are included in the kit:
Super strong 3M tape (already attached to the extension)
Degreaser
Surface primer
Applicator x 2 pieces
Flaring Knife (Ideal tool for cutting and profiling ends).
The ends of the extensions are made at a 90-degree angle, and a knife for extensions, which is included in the set, is used to profile the ends. Each customer cuts the ends individually according to their own taste and preferences.
Assembly instructions:
1) Wash and dry surfaces thoroughly.
2) Degrease the surfaces.
3) Apply the primer to the glued area using the applicator.
4) Glue the extension to the wheel arch, then press the gluing point (installation in a dry and warm place - above min. 15 degrees) is required.
5) Profile the ends/length of the extensions using a extension knife.
6) Park the car in a dry and warm place for 24 hours.
WHAT WAS THE EXTENSION MADE OF?
Material:
EPDM – elastomer based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber
This material is characterized by very good resistance to aging, which is extremely important in the case of continuous exposure to changing atmospheric factors.
Application temperature is from -50°C to +130°C.
EPDM is also resistant to hot water.
