The kit consists of rear shock absorbers, front McPherson strut spacers with studs, nuts, and polyurethane rear spring pads. It fits both 3- and 5-door versions as well as all engine variants.
Using this kit improves the vehicle’s approach, departure, and breakover angles, allowing for the installation of larger tires without negatively affecting handling on paved corners. The vehicle handles larger off-road obstacles much more easily. Installing the kit does not change the suspension’s behavior, meaning there is no noticeable increase or decrease in stiffness.
The advantage of the STAGE 2 kits is that they include additional components (e.g., rear shock absorbers) compared to the STAGE 1 kits, increasing suspension performance for users who drive in more challenging off-road conditions, while still being a more cost-effective solution than a complete set of shock absorbers and springs.
The front spacers are installed between the top of the McPherson strut and the vehicle body, replacing the original mounting studs with the longer ones included in the kit. Polyurethane pads are placed on the rear springs, and the rear shock absorbers must be replaced with the longer ones from the kit.
